While our focus is primarily on manufacturing protective packaging products, we also have designed and produced some innovative new packaging equipment. For one major global customer we designed a completely new coreless winder to make small retail rolls of foam and bubble (some as small as 6 feet in length) from large master rolls of that material. The retail rolls have no core of any sort and are sold into big box retailers. For another major global customer we jointly developed a new former system that automates packaging of items for shipment that do not fit or do not need to go into a box. The system uses our Cro-nel® and Nyvel® products to form a package around an item and then that item is ready to be shipped with a shipping label. Both pieces of equipment have multiple patents pending and we are proud of our ability to solve unique customer and end user issues with pioneering and simple solutions.
